Task Lighting
These lights can provide you with the proper amount of brightness for all your kitchen works such as reading recipe books and chopping vegetables. They are best placed right over a person's head and in between the working surface. Usually they are installed right under the wall cabinet unit.
Accent Lighting
When you have collectibles or glassware kept inside a glass cabinet, you can always highlight them with accent lighting. The concept of accent lighting can be used in just about anywhere around your house to illuminate your displays.
Even though lighting design in the kitchen is important and of course, it is a must to plan ahead, we still have to work according to our budget. Therefore, if you don't have the money now for the remodeling, you can just add the lightings up parts by parts until it is fully finished. Just make sure that the place is there, made and readied for the lighting to be installed.
